Maths escape room!

Yesterday, we completed one of the toughest maths challenge that we have ever done! We were put in to groups and had to race against time to crack codes, unlock padlocks and solve maths problems that were in a locked box. It required a lot of handwork, patience, team work and resilience but we never gave up and we had lot's of fun!

During guided reading this week, purple group worked independently to learn the story "Sophie's rules." They demonstrated great acting skills and the rest of Y3 enjoyed watching them perform.

Y3's Galette de rois

During our French lesson this week, we celebrated King's day. Madame Cartlidge made a galette de rois for our class with a feve inside (a cherry). One child sat under the table and randomly chose who should receive each piece of the cake. The child who was given the piece of cake with the feve inside, wore a crown for the day!
