Online learning

 Hi Year 3 parents, 

just to let you know that online learning will be taking place on google classroom tomorrow. The children will need to go into their school  email and click on the invite that I have sent to them to join the classroom.

Mental Health Awareness Day 20222- 'Growing Together'

 The children spoke about what activities they enjoy doing when they are experiencing emotions such as stress, sadness and anger. 

"When I feel sad I play football with my Dad."

"When I feel angry I like to play rugby to feel happy."

"When I feel anxious I like to do art."

"When I feel stressed I like to talk to someone"

Making cave art

 To make the cave art we covered the cardboard with rice and lentils to replicated the rocks on a cave wall. 

We then painted the cardboard to make it the same colour as a cave wall. 

Finally, we drew pictures of animals and cave people hunting on our 'cave wall' - year 3.

We made a fire and toasted marshmallows around the fire. 

"We turned the tables over and drew on the paper to draw cave paintings.

First day back

 Year 3 are learning a new text called 'A Necklace of Raindrops'. To introduce the text and to help us to write descriptive sentences we made our own necklaces.
